First concert/where
The Monkees at poplar creek in Chicago ‘burbs. It was their reunion tour and there was no Mike Nesmith, but still a memorable night, especially since I was only 5!
CD that is cheesy but could never live without?
I could tell you but I’d have to kill you. Let’s just say that there are two and they both use to be on the Mickey Mouse Club.
First radio experience
In first grade at the local radio station. My elementary school picked a few kids that could read well and stuck them on-air to show how smart the kids were at are school. It would have been a forgettable performance, but there was a newspaper photographer there and my friend’s mom still has the picture on her fridge to this day!
If you weren’t in radio, what would you be doing?
Snowboarding, political campaigning or spokeswoman for Short Girls ‘R Us
Fav celebrity and why?
Mark grace. Former Chicago Cubs first baseman- also the player with the most hits in the 1990s (we’re talking baseball terms, not Billboard charts). I’m a diehard Cubs fan and he was my childhood hero and therefore, favorite celebrity.
Pizza & beer or Sushi & sake?
Pepperoni and PBR please!
Which season do you prefer: Summer or Winter?
Are we talking a bluebird powder day or a 85 degree sunny afternoon floating down the Truckee river? Either way, both seasons have their specialties.
Dinner and a movie or concert & drinks?
Well, the movie, dinner and concert all rely on talent and goodness, whereas you can always be satisfied with a drink, so I’d have to go with whatever comes with drinks.
